Anti-slip resin flooring delivers all the seamless, easy-clean benefits of standard resin systems with additional slip-resistance engineered in from the start. Using calibrated aluminium oxide or quartz aggregates broadcast into the topcoat, we achieve a Pendulum Test Value (PTV) of 36+ — low slip risk — on any resin surface, including in wet and contaminated conditions.
The level of texture is matched to the environment. A commercial kitchen requires R12-rated grip; a ramp at a leisure centre has different requirements to a café terrace. PMC specifies the right aggregate size and broadcast rate for each situation, balancing effective slip resistance with a surface that's practical to clean and comfortable underfoot.
Anti-slip treatment can be specified as a dedicated system or added to any epoxy or polyurethane installation at no significant additional cost. It is also available as a retrofit treatment for existing resin floors that have become polished through wear.
